L-Glutathione IV Infusion
Conveniently located to serve the areas of Greenville, SC, Spartanburg, SC, Columbia, SC, Anderson, SC and Asheville, NC
L-Glutathione IV infusion is a simple process to raise your body’s natural glutathione levels. Glutathione is a powerful antioxidant comprised of three amino acids: glutamine, glycine, and cysteine. All of these are naturally produced by our body to serve several roles in our physiology. However, our level of glutathione production can easily become compromised. Inadequate nutrition, stress, age, and various pathological conditions, can cause our glutathione levels to plunge.[1] Low levels can keep our body from functioning at its peak, and further impact our health. To restore baseline levels of glutathione, Dr. Haasis and his team at Daisy Stem Cell recommend L-Glutathione IV Infusion treatment. After one easy session, you will feel restored, rejuvenated, and ready to reclaim your youth. The first step is to schedule a personal consultation at one of our six offices in the Carolinas. Go to our location page to see which one is closest to you! If you would like to speak with a staff member directly, please call us at (864) 775-5682.

Glutathione’s Role In Our Body
You might not have heard of glutathione, but, when at healthy levels, it has the same concentration in our cells as glucose, potassium, and cholesterol.[2] Often referred to as the “master antioxidant,” glutathione works at the molecular level to rid the body of toxins and wastes. Glutathione also assists in the transport of other essential amino acids across cell membranes.[3]
What Happens When Levels Fall
Whether you know it or not, you encounter millions of different toxins in your day-to-day life. Pollution in the air, harsh UV rays, and chemical exposure allow free radicals and reactive oxygen species to infiltrate our systems. These nefarious molecular structures are unstable, and cause oxidative damage to cells which can set the stage for accelerated aging, and life-threatening diseases. Different pathological conditions associated with oxidative stress such as:[4]
- Cancer
- Cardiovascular Disease
- Neurological diseases
- Respiratory diseases
- Inflammatory diseases
- Vitamin E and Vitamin C deficiencies
Without the antioxidant glutathione, this cellular damage would wreak havoc on our physiology. Glutathione helps defuse the threat to our overall health. However, the more we come up against free radicals and reactive oxygen species, the more glutathione our body needs. And, underlying conditions and compromised health can limit our ability to produce the glutathione we need. Low glutathione levels have shown to be associated with:[2]
- Neurodegenerative diseases
- Pulmonary diseases like asthma
- Auto-immune diseases
- Cardiovascular diseases like hypertension
- Fatty liver disease
- Cystic fibrosis
- Exacerbated signs of aging
Improves Liver Function
Glutathione plays an important in metabolizing alcohol. Alcohol processes through the body and forms acetaldehyde: a carcinogenic molecule. Cysteine, an amino acid found in glutathione, breaks down acetaldehyde into water and carbon dioxide and dispels it through urine. However, when glutathione levels are low, the body can’t break down the toxic cells effectively, allowing them to cause harm to the liver’s function. This can result in many liver conditions such as fatty liver disease. But, with the help of glutathione infusions, we can minimize these conditions and improve liver function. After one simple session, your cells will have enough antioxidants to begin the restoration process on your body’s systems.
Restoring Healthy Levels
There are various modes to achieving better levels of glutathione. Unfortunately, diet and supplements aren’t one of them. When ingested, a large amount of the amino acids is lost during digestion and therefore can’t be absorbed by the body. However, with IV infusion, we bypass the body’s digestive system, introducing the antioxidant directly into the bloodstream. This process allows glutathione to work quicker and more efficiently. In addition, there are other benefits to glutathione IV infusions.
An Easy Process
A glutathione IV infusion session is a simple and quick procedure that doesn’t take much effort or time out of your day. You’ll relax comfortably in your own private treatment room. A quick poke of a butterfly needle will allow the specially formulated L-Glutathione solution to enter your system via an IV drip. For the next 45 minutes, the IV bag will slowly drip glutathione into your bloodstream. Most of our patients say they begin noticing a physical difference in their bodies towards the end of their session. After the 45 minutes, you will be free to resume your daily routine. It is the perfect procedure to squeeze into a busy schedule.
Candidates
Since glutathione serves a vital purpose for many different physiological systems, low levels cause various conditions and affect millions worldwide. Along with the previously mentioned conditions, low glutathione levels can also go undetected for years. Many of our patients find out their glutathione levels are low long after they began to drop. The best way to tell if your glutathione levels are low is to schedule a personal consultation at one of our Daisy Stem Cell locations. Here, we will test your levels and recommend a comprehensive treatment program.
Your Consultation
After checking your levels, we will note what appears to be low and configure the best therapeutic route. Since glutathione assists in the absorption of Vitamin E and Vitamin C, many who have low glutathione levels also have low levels of these vitamins. We will explain what a glutathione IV infusion session entails and how many sessions we recommend. Then, we will include any additional IV infusions into your comprehensive treatment plan. At the end of your initial consultation, we hope that you are well-informed, confident, and excited about your experience here at Daisy Stem Cell.
Recovery & Results
Immediately after your IV infusion, you will most likely feel a boost in energy and mood. Over the next couple of days, you will feel more alert and awake, and the various conditions associated with low levels will begin to resolve. You will notice that you feel healthier overall. Internally, your body’s processes have been restored and rejuvenated. You will notice results accrue gradually in the coming weeks. We may recommend more IV infusion sessions shortly for optimal results.
Other Popular IV Infusions
Many different pathological conditions come along with low levels of other key nutrients and minerals. But, like low glutathione levels, IV infusions can be a remarkable method to introduce the body to a healthy blend of properties to restore homeostasis. Dr. Haasis and his team have a couple of different infusions available.
Myers’ Cocktail
Perhaps the most famous IV infusion, Myers’ Cocktail is a popular choice for those who need a quick pick-me-up or a solution for migraines and muscle aches. In a blend of concentrated nutrients, the Myers’ Cocktail consists of B vitamins, calcium, magnesium, and Vitamin C. When administered intravenously, the Myers’ Cocktail can help:
- Jumpstart the immune system
- Combat depression and fatigue
- Facilitate recovery
- And regulate cholesterol levels.
Tri-Immune Boost
The Tri-Immune Boost IV Infusion contains glutathione, Vitamin C, and zinc. While glutathione works to detoxify cells, the Vitamin C and zinc repair and restore the body’s immune system. This is the best option for patients with mild to moderate low glutathione levels and a weakened immune system. It is the best addition for those who need a ready and active immune system at all times.
